Filing a cargo claim requires meticulous documentation to ensure that your case is valid, as the burden of proof falls upon the claimant. Incomplete documentation will not allow you to process this claim. However, be ready to provide any further paperwork the carrier or insurance company may ask for.

As a reminder, the freight invoice must be paid to start the claim process.
